RIP PAUL
Simcoe County Championship Wrestling
Is Simcoe set to be taken over?
MNA #86 saw the debut of a new talent, along with the shocking events of a Simcoe veteran.
In what was a surprise move, Riflewilly closed the show with a speech laying claim that Simcoe will never be the same again, thanks to him. After several weeks of questionable behaviour, Riflewilly made his mark at the end of MNA #86 with the beginning shots of what can only be described as major trouble for the company. Alongside newcomer Hayden Kross, who debuted in shocking fashion, taking out Richie Starling to close the show, he promised that he will not only take over Simcoe, but its flagship television show, Monday Night Aggression. What does this mean for MNA?
Throughout the show, Hannah Rickman and her latest focus, J.T. Cash and Lauri Verne, butted heads. Throughout several moments of the show, they interacted with each other, along with a strange moment where Rickman stood at the top of the ramp clapping for the man who she once had a relationship with. With these three former members of The Faction butting heads, it can only be trouble.
Colton Monroe managed to show Thomas Watson what he is soon to deal with - even in the throngs of defeat. With Watson being knocked out by Monroe, one has to wonder - is Watson's Legacy championship safe?
Tune in next week to MNA #87, where some of those questions will surely be answered!
J.T. Cash sends a message to the champ on his return to MNA...After the exciting event that was Violence is Glamour, MNA #86 saw an epic continuation from the events of the previous week! With the confirmation that Sunday Night Slams has now become a part of MNA, the image of MNA has changed! Following his highly successful return at ViG, J.T. Cash made one hell of a statement to close MNA. After losing to Lauri Verne and Thomas Watson, Cash made sure that he would not be forgotten as he sent Verne flying into the Heavyweight Champion, Hannah Rickman, to close the show! Rickman, who was guest commentator for the night, was furious by the action. Obviously, J.T Cash has made one hell of a statement to the champion and Verne...will he continue it next week? In other news, Riflewilly failed to gain the SCCW Provincial Championship, losing to Jared James in a rematch from their triple threat at ViG. Sickened by the failure, Riflewilly claimed that he did not need the title and had something else planned. What exactly could he mean? Richie Starling once again made an impression on the SCCW native, defeating Masaru Inoue. Unfortunately Inoue received an injury during the match and it has been confirmed that he will not be returning to an SCCW ring in the forseeable future. In (what can be considered) happier news, SCCW Heavyweight Champion Hannah Rickman confirmed that she married her partner Charles during the week. Charles seemed delighted, while Miss Rickman did not. Is this just another plan up her devious sleeve? Make sure to check out MNA #86, and tune in next week for what is sure to be an explosive show! SIMCOE proves that Violence is indeed glamorous...Violence is Glamour took place this past Monday, April 25th and can only be described as a "company altering show". After the shocking announcement that Ascended Supremacy had in fact asked for their release from the company, it was announced that The Interminable would not become the new Heritage Tag Team Champions. It is now believed that the titles will remain vacant until a suitable challenger has been found. In other title news, Jared James walked out the new Provincial Champion, giving an impressive display against Riflewilly and Ryan Reed. Johnny Rotten defeated Laidanian Harper for the All Barrie Championship, and Richie Starling defeated the Sunday Night Slams goldenchild Trey Jordan to become the new Bad Blood Champion. The most controversial move of the night saw Thomas Watson demand that he become the Legacy Champion - with his request granted. In a steel cage match, Watson and his team-mate Lauri Verne fell to the team of Myke Adams and Aaron Blaize, but it seems that everything is not as simple as it appears. In the main event of the evening, Hannah Rickman managed to retain her SCCW Heavyweight Championship, but ended the show laid out on her back as Colton Monroe celebrated. Make sure to tune in to Monday Night Aggression on May 2nd for the fall-out of the show...it has already been announced that the Sunday Night Slams roster will make a special appearance. Free Agent "Pretty" Ricky Stanton signs with SIMCOEAs released on our Twitter account, Ricky Stanton has released this statement regarding his intentions to come to SIMCOE. "It's true-I have decided to sign with SCCW and it's about to be soooooo prettttyyyy"
This is a big coup for SIMCOE and we look forward to seeing what he will bring to our table. The Supremacy DescendsThe Supremacy Descends... As of this evening, SCCW front offices received the resignation of Tara Michaels and Jace Parker Davidson. This comes on the brink of Violence is Glamour when they were slated to face the Interminable for the Heritage tag titles, belts which they did turn in upon requesting their release. Jace also vacated the Legacy championship, they left no real reason for their sudden change of heart. Only stating they didn't agree with the direction the front office was headed, but this reporter wonders herself if this may have anything to do with their recent defeat at the hands of Aaron Blaize and Myke Adams, the Anti-Establishment.
